Our Golf Instruction Philosophy
Golf lessons without the ability to practice and build a repeatable swing are useless. Instruction focused facilities have very limited availability for you to practice on your own. We built Ace Golf Club to help you build a repeatable and consistent swing that you can practice on your own. Our bays have multiple cameras to help you analyze your swing to compare feel vs real to make sure you are practicing with purpose. At Ace we have 12 Bays making us the largest private indoor golf club in Chicago so finding an open bay to practice will never be a problem.
If you are a beginner our instructors will help you understand all the club and ball data. Most swing misses can be broken down into a few swing faults. We will help you understand the numbers and how they relate to misses like a shank to the right, slice, or hook. By understanding the numbers, you will quickly start to learn what is causing your misses even when you are out on the golf course so you can make the adjustments. For example, if you are drawing the ball too much causing a hook, your club path is likely too positive. A positive club path is good, but too much will cause big misses to the left.
Our teaching philosophy is to help you understand how to use our technology and teach you how to adjust on your own. Our goal is to help you understand different ball flights and how to adjust accordingly. After all, you can’t take your coach with you to the golf course all the time so we will help you become your own coach.
